The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) regularly seeks qualified professionals in a wide range of fields. The UNEP workforce is made up of different categories and levels of personnel, consultants, UN Volunteers and interns. Some posts are temporary in nature.

Over 2000 people, led by the Executive Director and Senior Management Team, are involved in the implementation of UNEP’s Medium-Term Strategy. They work at UNEP’s headquarters in Nairobi, Multilateral Environment Agreements and country offices around the world.
