Kids can be a pain and cause a huge mess sometimes, but that’s what makes them, well, kids. They like to experiment with things, such as putting hairdryers in the sink or even washing Dad’s laptop in the shower. But research shows that messy children make better learners, and toddlers actually learn words for non-solid foods better when getting messy in a highchair. So it may be best to embrace your kids’ messes, at least while they’re still toddlers.

Playing and jumping in mud is more than just fun – it’s essential for children’s sensory development. When kids get messy in mud, they engage all their senses: touch, sight, smell, and even sound. From the squishy feel between their fingers to the earthy scent that fills the air, mud play offers a rich sensory experience that can’t be replicated indoors. Let them embrace the mess and dive into the joy of muddy play – their senses will thank them for it! Happy Friday 🤎

I need warm weather! I'm imagining finger painting with butcher block paper covering the whole back patio! (Painting party) Splish Splash, Finger Painting, World Of Color, Color Of Life, Art Therapy, Branding Inspiration, Daughter Love, Belle Photo, Rainbow Colors

My daughter loves to finger paint, she is only about 5-6 months old in this picture and shorttly after this was shot she crawled away leaving a trail of paint all the way through the kitchen and down the hall. This photo was recently published in a book called Capture Lane County. A great idea from The Register Gaurd, hope they have another book this year! :)
