Antonios Polemon of Laodicea (Laodikaia) Syrians. The philosopher, whom the Emperor Hadrian commissioned the opening speech at the opening of the temple of Olympian Zeus in 131 AD. He was a teacher of Herodes Atticus. Busta, pentelic marble, circa 140 AD. Finding: Olympeion (Temple of Olympian Zeus) in Athens. National Archaeological Museum of Athens N 427.
