- According to the captions, the photos were originally produced by Grigori Goldstein, not by Creator:Lev Leonidov - who the author is needs to be sorted out before we can decide whether the photos should be kept or deleted.Nigel Ish (talk) 10:12, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
- Nigel Ish, once again, especially for you, please see Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Lenin speaking at a meeting in Sverdlov Square in Moscow on 5 May 1920: this photograph was mistakenly attributed to Goldstein by G. Boltyansky, and it is known since 1926. Sealle (talk) 10:22, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
- OK - I didn't spot that part of the previous discussion until after I posted - is it just these photos in the Grigori Petrowitsch Goldstein category which the authorship is disputed?Nigel Ish (talk) 13:24, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
- Actually, these are different crops and derivatives of the same single photo. Sealle (talk) 13:55, 9 October 2020 (UTC)

- Comment. Please make sure to add a category for undeletion in 2027. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 02:42, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
I would add that this is a photomontage: in the original photo both Kamenev and Trockij appeared. They vanished here. Therefore the author is anonymous.
- It's a derivative work of the original photo - we need to consider both the copyright on the original photo (which is still valid) and the copyright of the anonymous person who blanked out Trotski etc, (which will have expired).Nigel Ish (talk) 11:06, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
