The Tomb is located in Hanawai (Hanawiya or Hanawey) Village in South Lebanon The name of the village is derived from John The Baptist, and till this day there is a sacred square standing place of Prophet John The Baptist well preserved in the heart of the village. Hanawai village is a direct neighbour to Cana The Galilee where Prophet Jesus and Disciples took shelter in the cave.
