Newsletter

[edit]

Hi, I wish to become an editor of the newsletter and was wondering if it was still active.. My other WikiProjects are all to small to require one and I am quite interested to see what it involves. Many thanks. Rock drum (talk·contribs·guestbook) 17:32, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi. I wrote and editted the Newsletter for a long time but due to other commitments I had to take a hiatus from Wikipedia for a long time. I'm now back and ready to get started on this again (seeing as nothing has happened with it in my absence). Any help you or anyone else could offer would be much appreciated. Thanks, Alan16 (talk) 19:27, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, I wrote that more than a year ago. Since I posted it a few things have happened. The first thing is, I started up the WikiProject Children's literature newsletter (however, this has since become defunct). I have also become the editor of This Month in GLAM (GLAM being an acronym of Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums). This has become my main project both among Wikimedia newsletters and Wikimedia stuff generally. To that end, I won't be able to put any specific chunk of time towards this newsletter although I may be able to do something small every now and then. Sorry, Rock drum Ba-dumCrash 15:34, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's ok, thanks for the reply though. As for what you wrote, as far as the Children's literature Newsletter goes, if you have any interest in resurecting that I'd be happy to offer a hand, and if there is room for help on the This Month in GLAM I'd be happy to help you. If not, thanks for your reply, and I'd be happy to keep you in the loop with what happens with the Novels Newsletter. Thanks again, Alan16 (talk) 16:33, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
