Can we can the boosterism?

What exactly does Chicago's (allegedly) "diverse and vibrant neighborhoods" have to do with the 773 area code? That section (and arguably this whole article) needs to be rewritten. --205.141.247.28 (talk) 19:20, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I guess. Maybe it was a bad translation of "leaving behind" (i.e., "leaving behind 312..."), but it was a persistent one. I've fixed it. Morrand (talk) 00:56, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
