The Applications section needs work editeur24 (talk) 03:31, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

[edit]

The Applications section needs work because it is for a large price increase, not an infinitesimal one, so the profit increase will be greater than the initial quantity because the firm will want to increase its quantity in response to the price change. It really is contrary to the spirit of Hotelling's lemma. A Cobb-Douglas example might be good.
