Kurt Cagle is an author and technologist known for promoting XML and Web 2.0 based technologies. A frequent speaker at XML conferences, Mr. Cagle has pushed the importance of such W3C and OASIS-open.org standards as XML, XForms, XSLT and XSLT2, XPath, Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), XQuery, DocBook, XHTML and the XML Binding Language (XBL and XBL2), as well as the principles of Open Source and Open Standards usage in industry, government and business.
Kurt Cagle lives in Victoria, British Columbia. He was born in 1963, and received a BScience in Physics from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in 1985.
