Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bitcoin, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Intrinsic value (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Declined 3O request

[edit]

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I declined your 3O request because there are currently three users involved in the dispute. I recommend you going to DRN as a next step. As I am a volunteer there, I personally will be able to assist with the case. --Regards, MrScorch6200 (talk · contribs) 02:12, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

DRN

[edit]

This message template was placed here by [[User:{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}|{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}]], a volunteer at the Dispute Resolution Noticeboard. You recently filed a request or were a major party in the DRN case titled "NOT GIVEN". The case is now closed: a major party declined to participate as he believes a consensus can be reached on the talk page.. If you are unsatisfied with this outcome, you may open a thread on another noticeboard as appropriate. If you have any questions please feel free to contact this volunteer at [[User_talk:{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}|their talk page]] or at the DRN talk page. Thank you! --

Request to revert edits affecting the material under discussion undertaken since Fleetham's consensus-building attempt

[edit]

I did not make any edits to the section since Fleetham's attempt. Ladislav Mecir (talk) 18:23, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The above statement (18:23, 31 Jan.) is a false claim, and is offensive for that reason. I have refuted it here. -- HLachman (talk) 07:19, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Civility discussion

[edit]

Citing the preceding contribution by another editor: " Please do not edit any of the disputed material until consensus has been reached. It will be considered unconstructive and will be dealt with accordingly." You admitted that consensus has not been reached and edited two sections, both of them in a misleading way. Since you suggest me to avoid calling such an edit "disruptive", could you, please, give me an advice what is the appropriate notion I should use instead of "disruptive" for such editing practice? TIA Ladislav Mecir (talk) 14:24, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, OK, found the appropriate notion in this case, it seems to be called "unconstructive", thank you. Ladislav Mecir (talk) 14:28, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I stated my reasons for my edits. The next step is to produce a consensus solution. I have posted a more detailed response on your talk page. -- HLachman (talk) 16:25, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Canvassing for support at Dasein discussion

[edit]

I am assuming that your were not aware that these kind of solicitations [1] and [2] are a violation of the Wikipedia guideline against canvassing. (Posting to WikiProject pages, by contrast, is generally fine; in this instance, it was probably too quick of a notice about too small of a dispute, but I welcome the extra eyes.)

Attention also: @Velho: and @NONIS STEFANO:.

Please take care not to attempt to game the consensus process in the future.

Thank you, Patrick (talk) 22:38, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree with the above accusation and posted a detailed response on your user-talk page. -- HLachman (talk) 04:06, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
