Question from Audioplugindeals (07:27, 16 July 2024)

[edit]

Hi Juxlos, nice to meet you here :) I work for a company called Audio Plugin Deals and we're looking to create a Wikipedia entry for Audio Plugin Deals. We already have a draft written out. I'm looking for some guidance on the best way to do this. I'll be grateful for any assistance you can provide. Thanks you! --Audioplugindeals (talk) 07:27, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Saha (surname). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Ekdalian (talk) 11:51, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate your concern, but I disagree with the characterization of my edits as disruptive. I have carefully followed Wikipedia's policies and guidelines in all my contributions. If there's a specific issue with any of my edits, I'd be happy to discuss it further. However, I believe my edits are in good faith and align with the community's standards.

The Shunri caste and Saha surname are not related because "Shunri" denotes a specific caste with distinct social and historical roles, particularly in wine-making and trade, whereas "Saha" is a widely used surname among various communities in Bengal and Bangladesh, including Baidya and Kayastha, without being tied to any single caste. Saurabh{Talk} 03:04, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I can assume good faith, as you have mentioned. But your last para above is nothing but WP:OR! All sources (including the Govt. list) relate them (list says Shunri excluding Saha, thus establishing a link between the two). Saha surname is never used by Baidya and Kayastha; please present sources if you want to claim so! Better to discuss on the article talk page. Thanks. Question from Ladyluciddreams (04:30, 18 August 2024)

[edit]

Hello! I am grateful to have a mentor here on Wikipedia. I would like to start adding pages for things in the media and entertainment field, such as contributing to actor biographies (mostly updating their current films and such), and add pages for established publishing companies. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for being mentor. Also, if you have any suggestions to adding pages, I would be very grateful for your assistance. Thank you and stay safe. --Ladyluciddreams (talk) 04:30, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
