ChatGPT Sound Downloader is a Chrome extension that allows you to download ChatGPT's own voice renderings. This extension enables you to convert ChatGPT-generated texts into audio using your chosen voice and download them.

Open ChatGPT in Chrome

Right-click anywhere on the page and select "Inspect"

Click on "Console" tab

Copy and paste this command:
window.__remixContext.state.loaderData.root.clientBootstrap.session.accessToken -
Copy the token value that appears

Open ChatGPT Sound Downloader extension settings

Paste the token into the "Your token" field

- Clone this repository or download it as a ZIP file
- Go to
chrome://extensions/in your Chrome browser - Enable the "Developer mode" toggle in the top right corner
- Click on "Load unpacked"
- Select the downloaded folder and click "Select"
- Select your preferred voice from the dropdown menu
- Navigate to ChatGPT
- Generate your desired text
- Click the download icon that appears next to the "Read Aloud" icon
- And enjoy your audio file!
