π Background: I earned my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tongji University. My journey into technology began early on, driven by my passion for building innovative solutions and solving complex problems through code. During my undergraduate studies, I explored various aspects of computer science, ranging from software development to AI integration, which shaped my technical foundation.
π Career Path: Over the years, I have worked on a variety of real-world projects in roles such as database development, AI integration, full-stack development, and quality assurance. My hands-on experience at companies like NIO and Zoom gave me invaluable insights into how technology can be applied to drive innovation and efficiency. Currently, Iβm pursuing a master's degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Graphics at Purdue University, set to graduate in August 2025.
π Current Interests: My research is centered around AI and databases, particularly in the application of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, where Iβm working on my thesis to enhance vector similarity and visualization in AI-generated content. This area excites me because of its potential to make AI-driven solutions more accurate and meaningful.
Iβm constantly learning and experimenting with new technologies through competitions like Kaggle and hands-on projects. My love for coding has continued to evolve, and I enjoy tackling new challenges that allow me to grow both personally and professionally.
- From Classroom to Real World: During my time at Tongji University, I built a strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and AI systems. This knowledge was crucial as I transitioned into professional roles.
- Work Experience: I gained hands-on experience as a QA intern at Zoom, which helped me understand the importance of quality in software development, and as a full-stack developer at NIO, where I was exposed to cutting-edge technologies in AI and cloud computing.
- Masterβs Thesis on AI & Databases: My current focus is on combining AI with databases to improve data retrieval and generation processes through advanced techniques like RAG systems. Iβm working on visualizing and enhancing vector similarity, making AI-generated outputs more effective for end-users.
