Ronnie Martin

Ronnie Martin is awesome; a pretty funny guy and down to earth. For those of you who don't know, he's the man behind the band Joy Electric.

In an email exchange today, in reference to a music fest (Autobahn) he's playing at in Ohio..

Ronnie:
“It would be great to do another show with you, but I hope to see you at Autobahn anyway....we need you there.”

My reply:
“Oh sure, you just want me to come for my MONEY. All you corporate bands are the same, greed greed greed. :-) haha”

Ronnie's reply:
“You're a funny guy! Of course I want you to come for your money. When your in as deep as I am, you need all the help you can get.....”

He's about as non-corporate as they come. Great music, too.

oh, whatever. I only posted it because I thought his response was humorous.

I don't hang out with all these bands and don't even really talk to many of them, I don't usually know what to say. I'm not underground or indie, nor is Ronnie or Joy Electric.
