How does your game fit the theme?
IMPORTANT: If you get stuck, make sure to talk to the turtle twice.
The theme is pretty obvious once you play the game (I don't want to spoil anything).
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Pretty much. I used some stock images and free sound effects, but they were all heavily edited.

Nice platformer! I enjoyed the aesthetic. The dashing was a little strange, but the momentum felt great!
This is such a cute game, I loved it <3
the art style is really cool! i like the end screen and graphicly this game is awesome but i did not understand how it connects to the theme or why the screen turns red and i reset but the mechanics are very cool and easy to understand! overall great work :D
Thanks, I'm glad you liked the game!
The turtle at the beginning explains that the world is ending, but that every time it ends, it begins anew, resetting everything but giving you another chance to escape.
great art style, nice movement mechanics
Amazing game overall!
What I enjoyed most about this game was its awesome, end of the world mood. the sound design was really well done, i loved the background ambience as well as the footsteps and dashing sounds. the mechanic was too hard for me to get used to before the time loop would activate though, so even though i tried for a good 10 or so minutes, I never really progressed. i think for me i might have done a bit better if i had been able to use the arrow keys to move with my right hand, then dash and jump with my left. seriously though, one of my favorites that i've played so far in this jam. great work.
This was cool, though the timing was really punishing if you missed a jump. Very nice pixel art, and I loved the turtle!
Honestly a wonderful game! The concept was really good, and the whole aesthetic and color scheme looks great! it kinda reminds me of hollow knight. And the art is beautiful! the characters contrast well with the level and background, and the art has a fitting aesthetic with the mood/tone. Also, the photo shown to you when you beat the game is honestly just beautiful. I'd even be willing to use it as a desktop wallpaper :)
Back to the game itself, even though it took me a while to get used to the dashing mechanic, it felt pretty good once i did. But, the sound of when the level ended and restarted got kinda repetitive after a while. But other than that, I really enjoyed this game, great job!!
Good looking game man. The level design was fun. The art looked good. A couple of minor bugs here and there, but nothing that hindered the game.
A good looking game btw can give my game a review plz
Super great game. The art was nice and the effects at the end when you reached the edge and everything was crumbling was really cool. My favorite part was how the dash mechanic carried over your momentum and let you go super fast. My only complaint was that it felt a little too short. I think if you added a couple more mechanics that complimented the dash and moveset you would have a lot of potential. Keep up the great work!
Loved the game, its good in almost every aspect, simple but cute art style, fun and exciting to play, good mechanics. It has a lot of potential, saddly its really short(Loved the ending scene tho). Honestly you should find a way to make it longer and make a full realese. Congrats, Keep it up!!!
Great game, It's a lot of fun to play even though the dashing feels realy weird. sadly the game is pretty short. If it was longer it would even be more amazing.
great job. keep it up♥
The game could have used more sound effects like footsteps and dashing sfx. Speaking of dashing the dashing mechanic is kinda weird
It actually does have footsteps and a dashing sound. That's really odd that you weren't able to hear them (especially the dashing sound).
Has a Great Potential for a Full Game Release, Good Job
Love the atmosphere/ambience it sets, perfect mechanics, perfect sound effects, simple but perfect visuals, really whish there were more levels though :(
Very aesthetically pleasing! I had fun with this but the dash control was very awkward and clunky. Also it being on the same side of the keyboard as the movement really made it difficult to move and activate (this is probably a personal thing as my old fingers don't move like they used to). Just a suggestion for future projects. If you are going for an all keyboard control scheme, keep both hands busy :) Still, very well done!
Beatifull! Very good graphic and atmoshpere, and implementation of idea is just right. Atmosphere remineded me for level Abyss from Hollow Knight, and thats my favourite location. Dash mechanic is cool, but you need some time to understand how to use it, because sometimes you just dont understand how to controll direction of it. You could add some more levels for it and it will be very good platformer to publish.
Oh, and I forgot - sound was really good, you worked on it well.
P.S Please rate our game too, we were working really hard on it
I really liked this idea and could see this being built into a bigger project. I liked the dashing controls once I got the hang of it. Really great work!
I like this game a lot. the biggest problem that i see in most of these games is no way to exit.
You could do something like/ If (Input.GetKeyDown(Keycode.Escape))
{
Application.Quit();
}
That would be a quick way to allow an exit button to be pressed. Good Game. Keep it up.
Eh, I figure why bother when alt + F4 is already a thing.
I loved the atmosphere and short story! The movement felt very clean, and learning the dash mechanic was fun. The simple pixel art style was great and the sound design was amazing
