Thank you for the video and review! :)

Thank you for the in-depth feedback, it's really helpful!

Thank you!

Great art and animations! Liked the U ability! I would have liked for there to be some more depth to the game though, as it does get a little repetitive. However, it was still quite satisfying to play, so I had fun!

Great job on making this game!

Glad you enjoyed the gameplay and you were able to run it in the end. :)

Cool! Simple and functional, but I would've liked something that has more dynamic gameplay, as it does get a bit repetitive. Also, it's really hard!

Thank you for the feedback.

Glad you liked the game!

Haha, I'm glad that you enjoyed the game!

I do agree that the card labels could use more visiblity. Thanks for your review!

Thanks! Right now that role is supposed to be filled by the orange spawner card, but I realize that its spawning delay is perhaps too high. It might be worthwhile to add a spawner for a constant stream of monsters.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it.

Great game! I enjoyed playing as the road, and I think it's a really creative idea. Could get repetitive after a while once the novelty wears off, but really fun nonetheless.

Cheers!

It's a good platformer, but I wish that the flag swapping with the player meant something more than a simple change of the sprite.

Good art, mechanics and overall feel.

Thanks for the feedback!

I like the art, animation and especially the soundtrack! Looks like a promising game, but the stamina system is way too invasive and punishing for the player.

Good job on your game! :)

Cheers! :)

Absolutely loved this one! I love the puzzle mechanic, the art style, it's great! One thing that could make it better is an easing in to the difficulty curve, but that's minor.

Well done!

I wasn't quite sure on what exactly to do, but I reckon I managed to have quite a bit of fun anyways. One of the greatest aspects of this game is the art! Good job! Overall, solid game.

A polished game with clear inspiration from the Stanley Parable!
Good job on making this!

(1 edit)

Quite difficult, so I didn't have as much fun as I could have, but theoretically simple and practical. You've put in effort on making the game feel polished with particles, but ultimately I think it needs some graphical and mechanical love.

Still, it has great potential! Good job for making a fun game!

Nice work! I like the work done on the AI, I think it's great.

Cute fun little game. Nightmares of bread inbound.

Great art, polish and mechanics! Thoroughly enjoyed that!

Wow! Fantastic game from start to finish. Very polished and a notch above the rest from what I've seen. Would be upset if this doesn't get featured, because it deserves to be.

I think this is a great game! Simple, to the point, and quite fun! Art looks polished, and sounds are great. I think the link of the idea to the jam's theme is a bit rough, but it's still a great game nonetheless!

Great job on making this, I enjoyed playing. :)

I feel like it's a bit hard to understand what I'm supposed to do. I keep getting stuck on round 2. I like the art style, and I think this simple combat system of "shoot and hide" is full of potential.

Good job! :)

Thank you! :)

Thank you!

Very interesting concept of trade-offs, exceptional 3D and 2D art, and great soundtrack, which differentiates this from the jam's popular "fight the towers" idea.

I feel like some of the time it's a bit difficult to know what something does, but the how to play screen clears some things up. Maybe it was just me, but I couldn't get the shop upgrade menu working, and I sometimes didn't know what health the towers had. Would have also maybe liked to see some more terrain?

Props to your team of six! Solid potential for a really great game.

Thank you!

Simple and fun! Reminds me of Super Hexagon, but reversed! I think at the moment you could give the player more leeway when the hexagon gets really small. Graphics are also simple and effective.

Overall, good job! It's a cool game. :)

Unfortunately, I delegated my time to visuals and gameplay more than sound... so that's the stumbling block of the game. :(
Hope it didn't impact your experience too much and was the game was still fun!

Your art and soundtrack was really solid, but ultimately I think the gameplay mechanics are unclear, and so I didn't know what to do or what was going on most of the time. I think your idea was creative, in choosing to flip the stealth genre on its head.

Overall, this has a lot of potential. Thanks for your submission!

Thank you! :)

Like the art and music a lot, but due to the bug I can't fully appreciate the game. :(
Good effort though!

I think it's a pretty interesting idea of being on the inside of a PC!

I do wish there was more gameplay, or maybe if there were mechanics implemented, I'd like to have at least some instructions on what to do!

Keep at it! :)

Interesting, and bold choice to use 3D! I loved the art, the post processing and the overall feel of the movement! Good job!

I feel like a guide of some sort on how to play would be great, as I don't exactly know if there's anything other than just firing rockets at the enemies.

In my playthrough, they also didn't damage me... potentially a bug? This game has potential, just needs a bit more fleshing out! Thanks for your submission! :)

Thank you!

There is potential here! I liked the in-depth customizability the options provided, and I'm sure the progression mechanics would be good fun as well. The idea isn't too bad either!

However, I feel like there's one glaring issue that stopped me from having the fun this game could very well provide with some tweaks. The circle which controls the horde is just too small. Maybe it's just me, but it took me so long to get a portion of the crowd infected, and I got really bored and frustrated.

I can see that effort has gone into making Embrace the Hoard. Thank you for uploading!

Really cool art style, and it was fun to play! I liked the soundtrack, especially when you win or lose, quite catchy! If you were to go one step further, maybe varying the playing field a bit could benefit gameplay? Overall, great game! :)
