I have seen that game before, but it had escaped my memory.  Will have to do some "research."  Thanks for the feedback. I do hope to add more weapons (Flame thrower, hmmmm) or gadgets.

Thanks for playing.  100% agree.  I hope to come back and add a little more polish soon, jam time ran out on me.

Right now the ball only speeds up between levels, but think I need to add some variation inside the levels too.

Thanks for giving it a go.

Had a good time exploring this game, I hope you choose to continue with it.

Maybe I missed something, but I didn't figure out how to zoom out on the larger levels.  So was shooting blind since I missed the initial zoom in.

It might also be nice to see all the levels first.  It was hard to manage the deck not knowing what was coming up.  Though I guess that's what replays are for. :)

The level of polish is amazing.  Very well done.

The Options menu was empty for me, a full screen/window toggle would be nice.  (Though Alt-F11 worked.)

It took a minute to figure out I needed to go up.  Making the playable elements stand out from the background a little more would have helped me.

Excellent submission!

Very well done with tons of polish.  Think I really needed to grab a mouse instead of using the touch pad, but was able to make it to 14 enemies by pointing the arrow at my starting position and then clicking like crazy.

Interesting concept and very well implemented.  I felt like the key was learning to judge the power needed to get your towers to end up where you wanted them.  After that I was pretty easily able to build up 20 or so towers near by and felt pretty safe.

Interesting project, might be fun to learn how to play it like a funky musical instrument.  Maybe record a score for a future game?

Enjoyed my time in Droingy Droingy, would love to see some more levels.   The trees were a little inconsistent at times.  There is a level with trees near the bottom where you don't bounce until you are well past them, and another level with trees in the upper left that don't bounce at all.  But overall a very nice project.

Your engine feels really nice.  I'm stuck on level 3 right now, but plan to come back to it.  Very boingy.

Off to a good start but over too quick.   Wish it had more levels or challenges.

Very nice CGA game clone, very bouncy.  I almost wish the music was less good, maybe have more of a PC speaker vibe?  Or have some PC speaker sound effects on top of it?  But was fun to play and brought on some nostalgia. Well done.

Slick little game.  Very fast action, not sure how much I'm helping by trying to move around (other than deciding which plant gets fed.)   Also played on an older computer to see if I could control more if it was slower, but was not able to shoot much more than 100m (vs over 1,000m on the faster machine.)

I was a little unsure of what was going on at first, but all was revealed in time.  It might be interesting if some of the balls could interact with your drawing: change colors, nudge lines around, etc. (I also kinda wanted to drop in some pinball elements for the balls to bounce around with.)  But it was good fun exploring as-is.  Excellent entry.

Easily one of the top ten cow clickers of the year.  Bravo!

Very cute game, super polished.  It would be nice if you didn't fall all the way down when there was a platform just off screen, but that didn't stop me from getting my yarn.  Enjoyed playing.

It took me a few tries more than I care to admit to notice the moons "tell" and win the day.  Game has a nice feel to it, looking forward to seeing the completed project.

Graphics and sound fx came together very nicely.  You can create an incredible amount of on screen chaos by disturbing a few birds and smashing an igloo in short order.  Very fun!

I don't know beans about Frijoles, but I was able to catch 27 of them.  I think being able to control the pot with a mouse would be a useful addition for me.  A fun 20 seconds, loved the sound fx.

(1 edit)

Thanks for the kind words.  We are talking about continuing the adventure by another 20 seconds next year.  :)

Rays of 'Yellow Sunset' should appear in the first three seconds, except on the easy difficulties.
