The gap between cuteness and gore is so humorous. The art is pretty and the game feels good and juicy. Great job!

Cute animated mouse game! Great choice in music BTW. We also use Magic Escape Room as the primary music on our game so that's bonus points from us. Great job! Praise Cheddar!

I like the sound design of the game.

I haven't finished the game yet, but I for sure having fun playing it. It's so satisfying!

Thank you for playing the game! I'm glad you found it fun!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

The frog looks sOO cute when they roll!!! I truly felt indestructible until the big snake came in.  A pretty solid survivors game! Great job!

Yeah, eventually we decided the tilting mechanic was too finicky so you'll notice we stopped including it in the later puzzles. Perhaps a better idea would have been if the items only have two profiles (one for side and another for front/back) that made different silhouettes so the players don't have to mess around with the rotation too much.

Haha we ALMOST forgot to submit the game 😭 We we're too relieved with finishing it and uploading it on time to remember actually filling in the game jam submission form haha!

The objects are jam-packed with Jojo references, I'm glad somebody noticed them haha!

Anyway, yeah! Thanks for playing our game! We really appreciate it :)

Visuals and music are cohesive and work well together. I hope that the click hitbox of the blocks are larger just for convenience sake, but overall I enjoyed the game.

Thanks for trying out our game! I'm glad you liked the aesthetics, we're really proud of it :)

I really like the art style shift between the scaled up google maps version and the scaled down toy train version. The train simulation feels really alive too. Great job!

The platforming feels good and the gimmick is well utilized. I'd love to see this game expanded upon. I also really like the cutesy aesthetic. Great job!

Thanks for playing our game! Our team is glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks! I'm glad you liked the art style.

Yeah we realized a bit too late that we need some sort of zoom function to help with the tricky parts.

I enjoyed  playing this game. The puzzles are challenging but not frustrating. I think you could add more variety of buildings if you're going to expand this game in the future. Great job!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the game.

The first game I saw that took this theme interpretation. You also chose a good set of assets that fit together so good job!

A Foddian rage game. Personally not my cup of tea but I can see people enjoying playing this. I didn't get far so I haven't seen any case where being larger is a benefit.

Creative interpretation of the theme. I spent a good amount of time on my run before losing. A better tutorial/instructions on the description would help but overall I had a good time playing this.

The sound effects, art style, ambient music, and the gameplay all meshes together to form a well-made horror puzzle game. I wish there were more levels. Great job!

Unique and interesting take on this year's theme. It's both a challenging puzzle and platformer game. I love the square trivias easter eggs.

The game is fun, although it would be nice to know how much of each type of unit I have. Still, overall an enjoyable game. Good job!

Challenging platformer. I definitely did not get stuck too long on that area where I needed to fall through the mushrooms lol. Great job with the game!

The switch up between the jolly, bouncy baby froggo to the humongous destructive chungus is funny! The movement feels fluid and the juiciness when I become big makes the game feel satisfying.

Great job!

Fun and engaging puzzle! I particularly enjoyed the funny sound effects and how juicy the grow/shrink animations. The solution at the final puzzle is also nice big surprise (pun intended).

Great job!

Good aesthetic! I love that your game has a similar concept to ours but with a different execution haha. Great job!

Thanksfor playing our game!

We appreciate your feedback and agree with your that the verifying is a bit too strict.  We would have adjusted it if we didn't run out of time, so we're definitely gonna update it once the review period is finished.

And what can I say, great people have good taste in main music 😎

What was that change up! Insane!

The voice acting is gold! I got soft-locked when I fell to the left of the pyramid. I think the brick placing would be easier if the camera is not moving too much when I'm trying to place them. Overall it's a solid funny Foddian game.

I had trouble understanding why I suddenly got stuck. I think a better explanation of the game in the description would help this game.

Interesting take on the theme as a way to make it the levels easier the longer the player takes on them.

I really enjoyed the concept. I like how the ants are programmed to move, they feel so alive.

Wow this is really polished! And the residents of Birch Grove are so cute and lovable. It was an honor building their houses for them.

Very well polished! The platforming feels good, and the game is very juicy. Great job!

Very polished trivia game!

Thank you! I hope you enjoy it :)

Thanks for replying! I'll try again once I'm home. This seems like an interesting concept, so I'm looking forward to play it.

Cute game! I want to complain about how I can't stop moving mid-air and that falling off a ledge means jumping off into the distance, but only because I died to it too many times haha!

Great job!

It's a neat platformer, and I also liked that you have implemented options/settings.

I suggest trying these platformer techniques should you make more platformers in the future:

  •  Coyote Time - the player can still jump if they pressed the jump button a few milliseconds too late
  • Input Buffering - if the player pressed jump a few milliseconds too early before they touch the floor, they will still jump once they touch the floor
  • Horizontal Acceleration

Great job on your first game, I hope you make more in the future :)

I think this is a neat game idea. I enjoyed planning the web placements and got up to wave 13 before my eggs died.

The music, art style, theming, and gameplay feel cohesive and all contribute to building a gnarly gothic aesthetic. I think this could be polished and be a good game.

I do think being slowed down after eating bugs feels bad. Maybe it would feel better if the spider stopped altogether after eating and got a temporary speed boost right after.

It also feels bad that eating will only kill one bug even if there are multiple bugs on top of each other. I think it would feel better if every bug near your mouth gets eaten.

Great game, good job.
