The playstyle felt very nostalgic definitely got hints of jak and daxter, the enemies design were very cool! Would've loved to see more movement options for the play maybe a sprint or dash of some description. Lots of really cool foundations in such a short time it's very impressive stuff!
Feel free to check out our Gameshow style game would love to hear your thoughts!

One of the better gameshow jam submissions I've played this jam, I liked and also kinda felt uncomfortable with the host but really enjoyed the overall vibe and the fast paced warioware style gameplay! Great stuff we also did a gameshow submission if you want to check it out would appreciate the feedback!

Can you unlock all the doors and win all the prizes?? What will you win!?
Hey man strong entry and a lot of work done for one person, I think the gameplay needed more focus than the visual assets in this case it was quite laggy for me cause of all the detail you put into the scenes and don't get me wrong they look great but led to some stuttering when playing and I also found the ball quite hard to control in the indoor and out door levels, it would often build up a lot of speed from a little knock and fly off the map aha. That being said the puzzles were fun when I got through them but very challenging the use of the gravity stuff was really cool though! Good submission :)

Hey PurpleHP I also got stuck on the Doors one I took the correct path but it wouldn't let me interact with the door in the spotlight, maybe I am missing something. Either way it's been a fun idea and lots of nice little mini games, I can imagine it took quite some time to fit them all in together, the score trackers are a nice touch for those trying to speedrun. I did sometimes end up closing the game with it being WebGL I would sometimes try to crouch and walk forward (Ctrl+W) but for most windows users this will close the tab aha. I also noticed and maybe it was intentional but there is an invisible wall you can go through near the treasure in the maze! Overall though good work and strong submission!
If you have time please check out the game I worked on:

Really unique art style and I really apprciate that, the painterly aesthetic to the game is unlike any other jam game, huge props to your artist! On top of that the gameplay was super solid and intuitive especially considering you are a flower aha, I would like to see maybe different flower types with different effects, like poison or a snare effect. The comedic factor of the flower being the hero and the knight just out there chilling taking a nap was a nice touch to finish with. Overall a really great submission with heaps of potential as a full game!
First off a really well polished game artistically and the audio accompanied the aesthetic well, the UI for the most part was very intuitive and made it easy to pick up and understand which is a sign of good dev work. A strong concept as well playing as goblins against invading heroes which was a good and original take on the theme. In terms of constructive criticism i found the increasing of the unit prices a little steep and maybe not necessary to such an extent as it meant you are never really saving up much towards your goal, I also think the game could have benefitted from some health bars or some way of seeing the damage received and given to both your goblins and the heroes. Aside from that I think this is a super strong submission!
If you got the time please check out our game too and let us know what you think!
Hey guys this was a fun submission generally I did find maybe a bug where some of the hooks where above the height i could swim too? Or maybe that is just a good bait (hehe get it fishing joke)... Anyway overall i like the take and being a fish underwater was fun I would agree with Raptor in the sense that the QTE was maybe too easy so making that a little harder could add some more difficulty or maybe there are different types of bait and some give more hunger than others? I see a lot of potential for growth with this so keep it up and if you do develop it further after the jam reply to this and ill come play it! Also really like the way you achieved the underwater effect <3
Jesus Christ that gorilla is no joke ahaha properly messed me up, I genuinely enjoyed the concept here of playing both sides and having to think about how you leave the shooter baring in mind you're about to become him. It's an interesting take on the theme. Would've like to have a way to tell the ammo apart from the model a bit better but honestly the fact that it is hard to tell makes things difficult in a nice way. Overall a fun submission great job I'd like to see you develop it further!
Hey folks great submission took me a round to realise I was the card and wasn't wanting to be played but once i got the idea it was pretty straight forward. I would like to see maybe some new rules implemented that are less easy to predict like +1 to the current card number or something like that. Overall though it's a great concept and really well executed visually I could see this developing really well! If you have time please check out our Submission and give us some feedback and a rating! :)
Yeah visually very well done the grainy lighting and flashlight controls were smooth and felt realistic, the lighting was especially well done an accompanied by the atmospheric noises. Really was quite spooky I think you've shown a lot of skills in this and i genuinely felt a lil on edge which for me says a lot cause it's rare that a horror game does without excessive jump scares. I'm interested to see more works and more story as i feel you have successfully created a horror game with strong atmosphere I'd just want to find out more.
Really cool submission thanks for that!
This was an interesting experience to play through and i found myself very much immersed, a compelling narrative really sold the characters thoughts and allowed you to relate to there internal dialogue. Making changes in life can be scary and feel like a massive decision and this game does well to illustrate that, you feel the tension as you pass the signs 10miles.... 5 miles.... that impending ball of emotions doubting your decisions, questioning yourself till you have to commit to a choice. Atmospherically this game does exceptionally well and I see a lot of potential here, I could only hope for more polished driving controls more content or characters even to interact with.
Overall a successful immersive experience with a nice take on the Jam Theme, good stuff!
I played through this game a couple of times to try out different options and overall enjoyed it quite a lot. As said by others it's quite different to other submissions and predominantly revolves around dialogue, which i found funny and refreshing honestly. This games dialogue options and the lighthearted take on such a heavy philosophical topic has likeness to shows like Rick and Morty. The Infinite Monkey Ghost was an interesting character not sure what inspired it but I suppose i also cannot argue with what you might see when the universe ends. I found the explosion at the beginning visually quite impressive but agree with others that I would've liked to have maybe some visual development of the new universe you imagine with the Infinite Monkey Ghost. What you did was really impressive but felt there was some incentive or reasoning missing for us as the player, maybe it doesn't need one that's just my opinion.
Overall a strong concept for the game jam and executed in a fun manner I'd like to see this game develop as it was genuinely a refreshing feeling to play a more dialogue driven game especially in todays industry climate. I'd be interested to hear what you intended for the player in this game?
Also some philosophical works that may supplement some of your ideas:
Epicurus' arguments on Fear of Death
Cosmological Argument
Universal Causation
I hope the feedback helps and look forward to what's to come!
I'm glad you see and think we are so much more capable than what has been produced in this jam, we wanted spend a lot more time than possible in this jam and had we spent the full week I'm sure we'd have a much more fleshed out gameplay loop. As a full time student I have to prioritise university work and learn to divide my time sensibly, so it wasn't necessarily us playing it safe but just understanding our scope and the time it would take to achieve different mechanics. I appreciate the thorough feedback and found it genuinely thought provoking, thank you for such an honest review, it has definitely been taken as encouragement thank you and I look forward to playing your game, from what I've heard you're playing with some very interesting themes.

Please give us your thoughts on what kinda direction you want to see our game take/ what you'd add or change. Much appreciated!
With 9 Sacrifices I made it out alive this game was a really fun and fresh take on the theme with some strong polish, I thoroughly enjoyed playing and traversing the environment the controls felt very good and the grapple was a nice addition to deal with the mines. The UI and character design was simple but very effective it was clear to read what was happening and the kinda cute/friendly aesthetic of the crew accompanied by the death lines made for a nice sense of brief attachment to the crew members with a lighthearted ending to each one. The intro and and outro was a nice addition and tied everything together overall very fun and cohesive game one of my favourites so far!
Suggestions for development: I would like to see the laser developed further or maybe have different types that specialise for different scenarios or minerals It would also be cool to have some sort of native creatures in the caves that try to attack you/protect their home/burrows if you venture too close, this could give incentive to have an attack based laser.
Hey DragonLens! I liked your platformer especially the character design was particularly emotive and the backgrounds I feel like the foreground could've done with more love to compliment the backgrounds, I also managed to get stuck on one particular section and when I press R it doesn't reset the room just the player so I cannot seem to proceed maybe I am missing something.
Here is our Game Charter let us know what direction you'd like to see this game take!
