Thank you very much. This works! So now I'll have to launch the game like this every time?

I experience the same issue with some other titles which are able to launch directly from itch.io. The same error message about default font. Does anyone know of a solution?

Can't run on linux / steam deck. When I try to run launcher.sh or nw it says it can't find the default font. How to start the launcher or the game? I've been supporting on Patreon for months only now trying to give this game a go.

Very nice writing! keep it up.

Question by the way. Is it possible to find the caves in Waioo I feel lke I'm stuck, or that this is the latest version.

I found out that Itch.io has two instances of Deliverance installed, XV and XVI. XVI did not have a saves/ directory. However. Copying it over from XV didn't help my situation launching from itch.io, however launching the exe from the install directory immediately did load my saves properly.

Hi 1Thousand, thanks for your response.  The error says:

"File "renpy/common/00action_file.rpy", line 452, in __call__

    renpy.load(fn)

Exception: Couldn't find a place to stop rolling back. Perhaps the script changed in an incompatible way?"

And then a long trace mentioning multiple .py files. Please let me know if you need more info. I was hoping I could use my latest save file, I haven't changed anything.

My save file doesn't seem to want to load with XVI
Updated through Itch.IO on Windows. Am I missing something?

You'll still have your progress. The launcher allows you to log in to your patreon account and then the game version will update to whatever  patreon plan you chose.

woohoo

I just found out you can just update the game through the launcher instead of Itch, how convenient!

Hello NLT! Hope you're doing well. Can you tell me where in AppData the save files are tored? One of my system crashed, but I'm still able to access the files through recovery. I want to recover the save files so I don't have to start new game but I've looked for hours and don't know where ToN stores the files. Are you able to point me in the right direction? Thank you!

Edit; nevermind it was under C:\Users\$username\AppData\Local\User Data for me. I managed to recover the files from the crashed computer.

I finished the last chapter a few days ago. Can't wait for the next, such a cliff hanger. I am mostly a Hero, but I've started a second Villain playthrough now as well  in the meantime. Good story!

just download from the third party and then overwrite the files in your installation directory

Can't seem to select the download file in latest itch app for windows. The select box is empty.

I noticed my saves have been.. saved, somehow able to start where I left off. How does this work? Where does Itch store save files?

Hi NLT, where can I find the save files in the data folder? I updated Itch.io and it did not recognize any games in the installation path, so made a backup and reinstalled ToN. Now I'm trying to bring over my previous save files.

I was able to jump in from where I left of last time.

The story is so captivating! I got to the end of the last update!

Nice work!

theres no executable in the itch.io download. have to double click the html instead

Download/Installation doesn't start on PC

Can't download unfortunately

Haha yea I noticed his package got significantly bigger at later scenes, good schlong for good babes. Also I really got involved with the main character and how he develops. Thank you!

Enjoyed it a lot, good luck with the rest of the design and title in general

At first I was skeptical. I thought the main character had a small dick and looked like a creep (but you get used to it). But man,  the story is good and got me really invested in the characters. The options and scenes in between make it all the better. Awesome thing you made here.
