Just finished a playthrough, here's what I think:
- Art style is great, bright and happy.
- Movement is good, double jump works well.
- Cannons and spike traps are laid out well, good challenge getting through them.
- Music is good, too, didn't feel repetitive and complemented the action well.
Possible improvements:
- Have the Ogre at the end pause a bit when he raises his arms. I felt like I was jumping just before he landed his attack but I was still getting caught by it.
- Make defeating the knights along the way a bit juicier - maybe they could drop things like gold or have a little thing float up showing how much XP you got.
- I agree with the feedback on a shield or some way to counter enemy attacks.
