It might be preventing you bc there is an item that shares the same name, so you might just need to type "regurge" without specifying anything, as this will regurge the last thing vored. I'll check this again when I have time 👍

`Takeout` is the command your looking for to take an item out of a chest (if your facing it) or your inventory.
Spell pages are puzzles, you can `examine` or `read` a page to see what it says and to try solving it. You'll know if it's right when you try `cast [spell name] [target]` with target being optional for some spells. Note: Most spell names will "look" like normal words but will not.
Helpful Tip: Spell pages are not the only source for spell names ;3
Asked it to what? Anyways you can use the "use on/useon" command to use an item, then name a target. "me" refers to yourself, and "notme" refers to closest NPC, you can use the "help <command>" for additional details of a command and use "variant <command>" to see all synonyms of a command.
I'd like to know how you were trying to go about using it/playing it as I'd like to try getting the syntax to fit how most players may play :3
I don't know how but I managed to break one of the sniper's health upgrades since it just kept going up, lol. I managed to beat it twice since it looped back from 20 to 1, and figured out the meta for it 😅 TD games are one of the few that I have a love/hate relationship with and the way you executed had me enjoy it :D
This game nails the game addictive gameplay loop, I got down to ~216m before plummeting to my death. It has an excellent balance of mechanics that make descending fun and strategic with platforms disappearing if your on them long enough, dashing cancels fall momentum which allows you to make safer landings, and a great use of diegetic visuals for the health and how screen shake indicates how close the sun is behind you! I just wished it had some sound/music to go with it (and for the quit button to actually work XP ). This game might make you descend, but this it certainly ascending in my favorites!
This one I feel has a strong visual aesthetic and a solid gameplay style, and takes the theme quite literally XP My only minor complaints would be how dark the game seems to get and how the ending had juxtaposed white text that didn't fit in the game at all 😅 Overall I think this one might win, bravo!
My dude, out of all the games you're asking for mobile support, THIS one does indeed support it through the browser! (Or are you just reinforcing the requests you've been making for my games?) If your having trouble playing this one then let's trouble shoot it, it could be a browser compatibility issue I'm not aware of :3
If you have a discord you can join my server so we can collaborate more effectively, especially when itch is down temporarily 😅https://discord.gg/8dDXPxbGfV
I'd like to know your skill sets so I can give a more proper task, like are you artistic, programmer, musical? This game needs help on all fronts atm 😂
I've figured out how to run it in XAMPP, but someone also helped me make a stupidly simpler solution to the problem. But I'll go over both:
For XAMPP, from the control panel, click on "Explorer" on the right to open the file location for XAMPP and open the folder "htdocs". After unzipping the game into its own folder, move the extracted game folder into the "htdocs" folder. Now just Start a module from the XAMPP control panel and open your web browser. The game will be hosted at "http://localhost/<game>" where "<game>" is the folder you put the game into.
For the simpler solution I just set up thanks to PeachClamNine, you now just need to unzip the folder and run the "launch.py" script to get it running :3 I always forget to ask other folk since they might have easier solutions that I'm not even aware of XP
I hope this helps finally! Have fun gaming! :3
Happy New Year! I Ver 1.1.0 has been released just before the clock struck 12 my time! Here is what you need to know:
- Fixed spelling errors and missing texts, including for the Education scenario
- Adjusted some values of options
- You can now choose to start from the hibernation screen or start a new run when you come back to the game
- Icons now adapt their image to your current stat level
- A version value has been added to the bottom left so you can see what version of the game you've been playing
I hope some of the small tweaks are welcomed as I slowly get back to figuring out all the spaghetti noodles I made from the jam XP
Thank you for the bug report! I'll see about figuring out a fix to that since that would be really annoying to complete ^^;
And I'll look at the investment bug since it could be a calculation error on my part. Though if you could double check for me, that it isn't already leveled with R. Z points reset after a run but R points do not so the stat could be leveled up, if I understand your description correctly.
I apologize for not answering sooner (or answering already but forgetting where 😅) I wasn't subbed to the topic so I missed this message. The first 2 are tied to Campaign mode, but I can't remember which difficulty (if hard, then you'd only need to get halfway through for both). For "Curious Browser", try looking in the Credits menu ;3
Again, apologies for the extremely late reply, I should try being a little more vigilant next time 👍
Apologies for the late reply, I agree with achievements being annoying in the newer version and the next major update is supposed to untether characters from specific achievements. I could look to see if I have a version before the achievements update that I could upload for ya sometime soon (~24hr-ish if I have a copy).
From the design perspective, Achievements were added as a way to encourage players to play the different games and try challenges for those games, with character unlocks as an incentive to go for those achievements. But as I'm still learning as a developer and trying out new things, implementation worked okay, but iteration and execution fell flat. I've been meaning to post an update about the game's status, but so far plans are to get the major update to fix this issue out by end of 2023/January 2024.
Have a good day and happy turkey week! :3
If your asking how to switch to play mode, click the far right menu icon and it will show a green play button on the far right of the submenu. Remember, itch.io has its overlay that can interfere with embedded games so you might need to scroll the site up or down if clicking the green play arrow doesn't work.
