Super fun and very polished! Loved the sounds and style! Unpopular opinion but I liked the fact that the last level was easier, it felt as if you had already built the ways as a dark prosecutor to manipulate the result easily, like there was no chance to lose your trial from the start.

great time from the first attempt! Thanks for sharing these tips, helps to have in mind when designing a level

I see, thanks for the feedback! Yeah, completion times so far are usually low, indicating that it was easy (more than I expected!). Maybe the "shadow self" could be a setting you can toggle on and off in a more complete version of the game.

Brilliant mechanics! Mind blown!

Time flew by playing this, loved it! Clues could be found in the most interesting places! A little over the half of the game, I too wasn't sure of the logic and kinda went with random selections (usually between 2-3 options). A walkthrough with the logic around each photo will be amazing to satisfy curiosity! I am also wondering where/if the names in green (students that disappeared) are used.

PS: I would definitely buy a full version of this (eg more levels of yearbook puzzles)!

Found the murderer in all modes, yay! Really enjoyed it! I found the ability to drag and drop super helpful in arranging the cards to help me figure out the order.

Played the full version and really enjoyed it! Loved the art style and eerie atmosphere. Looking forward to the new modes too! One thing I'd love to be able to do is skip the dialogue after the cleansing (and maybe have the phone ring once). This helps play a bit faster when going for multiple playthroughs.

fun game! First 3 rooms served as a nice tutorial as well.

Nice one, I opened the door wanting moooore!

fun maze, cool idea!

Indeed, very good time!

Glad you liked it and thanks for playing!

This was fun and surprising! Looked like a puzzle minesweeper at the beginning, but it got even more interesting with the rules addition.

yesss I did have enough ladders and got to the top! It was fun!

great time on first try! Glad you enjoyed it!

nice one! 3 looks to be the lucky number on both times :D

thanks! Happy to hear you liked it!

thanks! :D

haha thanks! Mazes kinda make me frustrated at first glance (weird for me to say when I made a maze game lol). Glad it was a nice experience!

Wow, nice!! I only managed to reach 20sec myself!

wow, very polished game and with a nice twist to figuring out the right path. The theme does the gothic color palette justice too!

Very cool puzzle game! Loved how it got progressively harder.

My first thought after moving the first slider was "this should not take long" and then I spent an hour trying to solve it always feeling that I am so close! Really good!

Really enjoyed this! It was a fun mechanic to be able to use previous/next found words as a "hint" for the harder ones. Reminded me of some great puzzles games too!

haha was the first answer I typed in! LEGOOOO

Loved the idea! This is so relatable and hilarious! I was having a laugh just from watching the intro. Wonder if items had less "weight", and you were able to throw them across the room in panic, if it would add to the comedy of the situation.

yeah I see what you mean, I was wondering if adding a "shadow" self on the other maze to show where you are at any time would improve the experience. Stacking is also an option, but then maybe seeing the right path might become too easy?

Very happy to hear you enjoyed it!

This is great, thanks for playing and putting this together!

This is a great idea! Loved the concept with the character reflection and how the water serves as the border of each world and how you use that for connecting the two worlds (e.g. the crates that float).

Stack images in the correct order to complete the pictures in this 2d browser game.

This game was inspired from the Layers feature in tools like Photoshop and Gimp. There is currently a total of 19 levels. Complete all of them to unlock all the photos on the album.

Play it online for free here: https://ffviikh.itch.io/picturestack (link to the source code also available on the page)

Any feedback is welcome! Thanks for checking and hope you enjoy it!

Here are two levels from the game:
