Awesome game! Been trying to make my way through and am so close. I wanted to note a couple things that aren't necessarily problems, but could be bugs or improvements. When restarting the game, the oxygen level graphics don't get reset for the lower floors. Also, on restart, the menu selections should reset to the first item like, the build menu, or the team menu. If I have a bunch of things researched and the last thing I built was the rocket, but then die, when it restarts the selection in the build menu is down on the last thing I built which is not visible on restart since it needs to be researched first. Same with Team, it should reset back to Mike on restart.

One thing that may be a bug or possibly me not understanding correctly, is if I am on the 10th level and mining, the oxygen meter graphic  for the 9th level goes down and not the 10th level. Is that supposed to be that way or is it off by one due to tables starting at 0 and not 1?

I found the issue. When turning off TDE, make sure to turn on Virtual Device. Works great now. Thanks for this Roman. I never had a Gameboy, but fun to play this conversion. I will have to try out the original on my miyoo mini+ portable that has gb, nes, etc.

I am on Vice 3.7.1 GTK3(with mac fixes), C64C PAL, 8565 VICII, 8580 SID, 1541 II, using keyboard joystick function, basically default settings, and cannot play it with drive emulation turned off. I can autostart it (it gives a $LOAD ERROR, but seems to run fine) and it starts, but it resets when it goes to load the first level. Not sure if I have something else set wrong, or if this version of Vice on mac is not working properly as far as TDE.

If i keep TDE emulation on then it loads and plays, but is slow for the disk loading portion and not sure if it screws up other stuff at some point since you say to keep TDE off.

No luck with saving game on cart for U64 so far. The only thing that works for me is saving to a d64 disk file. Not sure what the issue is. Maybe I need a physical EasyFlash3 Cart and load the game onto that for it to work? I think I got Sam's Journey Gmod2 cart to save, but that is a different format.

Awesome. Probably in the manual, but I skimmed that while playing. Thanks. I will also run from any battle I can which saves some time.
I will be showing this game to my 10 year old daughter tonight and can't wait for her to see it.
If there are future updates or bug fixes, Sebastian says "be be" in a sentence at the cut scene intro to him. Also, in the manual it says 'for' instead of 'four' on one note near the beginning.

I probably lost my gameplay as well. I rebooted from U64 menu, and my save was there, but did not completely power off and boot. I should have tested doing the F5 save cartridge function to check. I will check tonight, but pretty certain my save is gone which sucks because the button pushing to get through story and running around will take some time to get back. I should have known because I have done the save cartridge function before for an easyflash game.

Been playing for a while this evening. Really enjoyable. Seems like a large world to explore and many things to discover. Great work, Sarah! Working well so far on PAL U64 in a breadbin with latest firmware.
