Thanks a lot. I'm definitely going to work on it. I'll consider allowing canceling into the next ckmbo attack after the first attack hits. But that'll speed up the game and I've gotten some complaints about spamming being very effective. Well, there's always a middle ground and I hope I can find it. Thanks again!
Thanks a lot. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I haven't had the chance to play Sifu but I watched a lot of videos while trying to make this game. I kept pushing off adding proper block animations until it was too late but I'll fix that in a post jam update. And there's no way to break grabs but I'll consider that. Thanks again.
I had to lower the gun's strength and use the longer animation to avoid spamming (which you can still do, and then that led to adding in some invulnerable attacks for the bosses and I just kept going). There's some balancing to do, but I'm glad you found it interesting. Thank you!
Also, I originally wanted only monsters/creatures, but after the first one, I decided to switch to have more interesting characters because they're just silhouettes.
