I liked it... but it was a bit too random and frustrating in spots. I did not get through the first arena right now. The sword mechanic is magnificent and I love EVERYTHING about that. I think the camera could be zoomed out just a tad, it's more frustrating to just get smooshed by an enemy seeemingly at random then to have some reaction to their movements. Careful with the "random" vs unexpected obstacles, it's confusing in spots why I am falling!
Overall, super cool! I will come back to this later and try to finish.
Whew! That was really really tough... I could not get passed the it doesn't look good down there part. The game is good, I think, but it's a bit too random. Unexpected doesn't necessarily mean unintuitive. There are some traps that were really neat and some that just made no sense out of context.
OVerall, I did enjoy the game =D
I don't know, It was really hard and fun but it definitely switched to frustrating really fast... I got passed the tutorial but not the next level. I had fun with the mechanics but I died a LOT for seemingly no reason. It kind of took a turn for the worse in playability.
I would maybe revisit this later but I'm done for now!
Great work!~
I feel like you asked us to read the instructions after the game for no reason! I figured it out pretty quicklike but I was a little confused. Pretty decent game, very quick reaction time needed for some of the foods. I also could continue playing even if I lost... I dunno if there's anything more to it than that...
Great work!
Well, I liked it! It was a cool small, but well polished little game. In spots, the controls felt a little wonky, but the asthetic and the music and sounds all fit really well together. I like the concept a lot!
Not sure where the unexpected bit was other than I thought I'd lose some levels I did not lose.
Good work!~
Ok! So, that was pretty interesting... I feel like the game loop was a bit dry at times, especially since I had to start over a couple times and it felt somewhat punishing to get back where I was. I'm not sure exactly what the goal was overall, I was just trying to get as far as I could. However, I did badly. After a couple play-throughs, I felt like I had to give up. The most unexpected thing was not having enough heal tokens and then randomly dying hahaha
OVerall, I liked teh little text game idea a lot! Let me know if there's a lot more to it than I realized.
