Came across this and I’m a beach rock collector. I collect rocks / brick debris from every location I travel to… so am gonna try this game! Checked out your website and it’s good to see another (Canadian) designer/creator writing about their game creation process. All the best!

Hi all, this is my first ever ttrpg jam, and i’m looking for 2-3 playtesters to test my game’s mechanics. (AKA i’m getting dice rolls right)

It’s a travel photography and journaling game. Please DM me at _ arsmoriendi _ (underlines included) on Disc if you can help :) Thanks!

Oh yes and the song fits in a Newgrounds game (which I’m old enough to rmb!). Maybe something hardcore like the stickman fights 😂

“Thrash Panda laying a new jam on my Armin Van Buuren and Deafheaven fans. Check out my solo-crushing new single, ‘I know nothing (about Metal)’!”

Not only am I new to TTRPGs, but I don’t like metal or trance lol. I do listen to prog rock and EDM, so I thought of creating a song similar to that where it starts heavy like Rammstein/Deafheaven with drums, screaming, then slows down with melodic prog rock. There’s a super fast-paced solo riff in the middle where my Orange Raccoon thrashes it out for two minutes, while making terrible jokes about dumpster diving panda treats.

Really fun 1-pager! Gonna see if i can get a genre I know next.

That is so kind, glad you enjoyed it! 🙏🏻

Whoa, those sound so fun to look at. I’d love to someday see reels of tomorrowland, burning man, and EDM festivals when they didn’t become completely corporatized.

Adorable moving train animations and lovely mousey art! I cheesed my first play and tried alighting at all the stops to avoid the conductor, but had to reboard as I couldn’t leave the station. The end was clever, changing it from a “horror” game to something silly.

Thanks for leaving the kindest comment 💜 I grew up in Asia and viewmasters were a “Western” marvel which I loved playing with whenever I could get my hands on them. They sold reels at street shops and it was always random too like dinosaurs or tourists spots!

Really useful! Thanks for putting this together!

Hahah this was super cute and well done for your first game!! Replayed and got the good ending, didn’t want egg-for-brains to keep getting Fae flu.

Thanks so much! I wanted to add a little humanity to the computer/AI, so that was entirely the intention, including the pause before it says it because it’s processing its thoughts 😃

10/10 accurate human drinking. Hilarious and fun xD

Oh! Interesting catch!! I tested this 10x times and will try it again and update the instructions. Thanks for playing!!

Gorgeous, atmospheric writing! Both endings were great.

Nice little game! Conveyed so much with the descriptions and 1bit dithered art, and I got off the train the first play  :) Now I miss the ocean.

Omg thank you! Happy Pride Month wherever you are 🙏🏻🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Although this game isn’t finished, I enjoyed the 40 minutes so much! The story successfully uses interesting characters for a perfect-blend of comedy and drama, using love as a way for the player character to ultimately learn about themself. That, and the urge to find a concert partner.
The music perfectly suits the characters and each of the characters/romance options have so much personality.
I'm looking forward to playing it in full. Will be writing a full review on my site: Sibylle Writes Games :)

Love this for learning how to create a 2d platformer. thanks!!
