I like the idea of the game and the overall style is fantastic but I do feel like a lot is going on with controlling the cat, the demon playing Tetris, the enemies and also the lava I feel like there's too much to manage all at once I feel like just focusing on the cat controls and the Tetris aspect would've made for a better experience in my opinion
Surprisingly the hardest part of development was the controls, I tried different approaches to it but most ended with the orientation of the player getting screwed up and the only solution I could come up with was that one, it's not the best I admit it but it helps if you approach the controls like you were playing a top-down game
I just gotta say that this was fun and I admire that you've managed to gamify chemistry and these puzzles were very smartly designed. The only two things I got in terms of criticism are that I feel like there's poor depth perception when you're microscopic and it's very repetitive when you're trying to trigger the wires underwater and have to expand constantly just to have the event trigger. But besides that, you did an incredible job.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it, I definitely should've had an official tutorial level as opposed to the basic "How To Play" menu, and there were also some mechanics that were left on the cutting room floor like grenades and hammers, being able to pick up small moving npcs like birds around the map as well as moving cars. So I think there's still a lot to explore for this idea.
I really appreciate the game and how you utilized the theme of limited space in a cleaver way that reinforces the summer theme, although I have an issue with knowing how many spots are left on the beach, the game kind of ends, maybe if you use some indicators in the Ui, it would help a lot. Overall good job
