Oh wow, this speedrun is amazing! The skip in Giri Giri Pass was unexpected but very clever how you got under the crate to use the pushable object jump bug . I also hope one day there's a community, I really want to see a lowest coin total run. But thank you so much for playing the game.

Hi, when did you purchase the game on itch.io? Did you receive it as part of the equality bundle?

I've been following your progress through all the games on Resetera.  Thanks for taking the time to write a review of each one.

Thank you. That means a lot. I am hoping to release the soundtrack soon.

If it's not too late I've got another game.

At this stage probably not . Let me know how it runs in WINE though.

Nice, it's like a platformer without the running and jumping.

Thank you! It's come a long way since the KS and I'm really happy with how the game turned out. I hope you enjoy it if get the chance to play it.

Thanks so much! I wanna play it on Switch too! If it does well enough on PC we can make it happen! Spread the word!

And it's out! Go get it now!

It seems since I had the release date set to a date in the future it locked even the pre-orders. All fixed. Thanks for the help leafo!

You're right! I'll fix that up right away.

Rising Dusk is an Anti-Coin Collection Platformer inspired by Japanese folktales and it's launching soon.

Rising Dusk will be available on July 26 but you can preorder it now through the Rising Dusk itch.io page.  Before that though you should check out the latest trailer.

Update: Pre-orders not up yet but will be ASAP. Sorry for that.
Update 2: And now the Pre-Orders are up! Hooray!

This video was great! I've fixed that camera in the last level you played so it won't jump around anymore.

There's 48 hours left to get on board with the Kickstarter. And we have reached the goal! Come check it out! http://kck.st/2hRfiXu

Another new animation... this is Mr. Tesso. He sells rare but cursed items.

Thanks for playing through it. Hope you enjoy the other levels too!

New Demo is up! https://studiostobie.itch.io/risingdusk

And relevant Devlog: https://studiostobie.itch.io/risingdusk/devlog/16361/new-demo

Ok, let me get on to that.

I thought I'd share some of the art from Rising Dusk. I've been having a lot of fun creating these characters and doing these illustrations.

The first is the main Key Art I've been using for promotion.

I started with a different version of this with each character on its own layer so I could rearrange them. But I was finding that was slowing me down so I started again and I'm much happier with how this turned out.

Next is my new favorite: Zashiki Warashi. She's kind of an alternate, darker version of the main character Tamako.

Zashiki Warashi

Finally there's the Azuki Arai. In the original Japanese tale this creature's form varies from a child to and old man, or woman, so I tried to make him child-like, yet still an old-man.

Next time I'll share some of the pixel art from the game. In the meantime please check out the Kickstarter. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/studiostobie/risingdusk

Thank you. I appreciate that alot.

Thanks, still a lot of work to do but it's getting there!

I've just uploaded the demo for the game I'm currently developing, Rising Dusk. The game is a 2d puzzle platformer inspired by Japanese folktales. The game has a unique mechanic which is going to go against everything you know about platforming games. Heres's a hint...

Try out the demo https://studiostobie.itch.io/risingdusk

....and if you like it consider pledging to the Kickstarter to help me finish the game. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/studiostobie/rising-dusk

Or just watch the trailer if you'd like to get an idea of how the game looks/plays.
