Oh wow, this speedrun is amazing! The skip in Giri Giri Pass was unexpected but very clever how you got under the crate to use the pushable object jump bug . I also hope one day there's a community, I really want to see a lowest coin total run. But thank you so much for playing the game.

I thought I'd share some of the art from Rising Dusk. I've been having a lot of fun creating these characters and doing these illustrations.
The first is the main Key Art I've been using for promotion.
I started with a different version of this with each character on its own layer so I could rearrange them. But I was finding that was slowing me down so I started again and I'm much happier with how this turned out.
Next is my new favorite: Zashiki Warashi. She's kind of an alternate, darker version of the main character Tamako.
Finally there's the Azuki Arai. In the original Japanese tale this creature's form varies from a child to and old man, or woman, so I tried to make him child-like, yet still an old-man.
Next time I'll share some of the pixel art from the game. In the meantime please check out the Kickstarter. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/studiostobie/risingdusk
I've just uploaded the demo for the game I'm currently developing, Rising Dusk. The game is a 2d puzzle platformer inspired by Japanese folktales. The game has a unique mechanic which is going to go against everything you know about platforming games. Heres's a hint...
Try out the demo https://studiostobie.itch.io/risingdusk
....and if you like it consider pledging to the Kickstarter to help me finish the game. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/studiostobie/rising-dusk
Or just watch the trailer if you'd like to get an idea of how the game looks/plays.
