As of now, we are back at updating for the final version of the game that is coming to mobile!
But I'll definitely add a list of all items in the main menu to this version today!! Thank you for the feedbacks!
Playing on pc, the movement limits became kinda wonky, but if you open the game on mobile it should allow you to go to the very bottom! Hope this helps for now, still not sure how to adapt these limits for different screens on pc 😭
Wow! That was definitely challenging to code, but you did great! Super cool theme/gameplay/everything really. I loved the design of the world and your take on surrealism. The only thing I think could use some tweaks is the movement, I think giving the player an acceleration when pressing shift can feel smoother and easier to control the player, and also maybe adding some coyote time to jumping? Jumping on top of the water lillies was very hard to control (for me, at least).
Great job! Thanks for sharing, super awesome idea!:)
The art style and overall presentation are top notch! I loved the mechanics of the game and the movement and mode switching felt very fluid. One thing though is I wish that the controls were a little bit simpler. For example, just one button to switch between modes and maybe add the dash as the dark modes "double jump" option.
Loved it! Thanks for sharing!
Marshawn Lynch would be proud! Very cool idea!
Some feedbacks:
- Add more SFX, so it`s clearer when we get hit or stiff-arms someone;
- Lock de Z-axis, sometimes Lynch twists and falls on it`s side on the ground and then the movement gets all weird and it is necessary to reset the game;
- The Bonus Kart Stage was a super cool idea, it reminded me of Street Fighter bonus stages;
- Loved the hand-drawn art style, makes the game pop and gives it a cool retro vibe reminiscent of Miniclip days.
Good job! Great addition to the jam and more people should play it!
