Having Trouble with Microsoft Authenticator

2021-06-07T13:49:16.817+00:00

I am having trouble with my Authenticator App. Currently, it is asking for a code from the app in order to log into the app, however, you cannot get a code from the app, unless you're already logged into the app. I've tried doing it through password, text code, and working with the help desk, and tech support, but no luck on any count. With the Army moving to Army 365, I'm required to have the Authenticator App as a second verification for logging in. But again, I'm unable to do anything with the app. I don't have 30 days to wait on the system to reset, I need to access this app so I can continue to operate, and I'm getting tired of being told to go to this website or that one, log in to my account, just so I can ask a question. I can't access my account because of Authenticator.

Again, I can't access my account, or anything else, because of Authenticator.

It isn't clear what app is asking for code? Something here might help.

No, there's no QR code. When I attempt to log into the Authenticator Application, it defaults to the Authenticator Application to verify the code to log in. When I try to log in with an alternate option, it will require the Authenticator for a second verification. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the application, resetting the password, working with the helpdesk, tech support, and it led me here, however nothing is working.
