What is the game about? 

In this strategic card game, you step into the shoes of a conductor, locked in a duel against a rival maestro. Your objective is to construct the perfect musical scale by playing and arranging note cards from your hand. As you complete each scale, it unleashes a powerful attack, dealing damage to your opponent. The battle continues as both conductors build and play their scales, trying to outmaneuver each other. The match is won by the conductor who can deplete their opponent’s health first, using the power of music as both offense and defense.

Rules

• Each turn, you have to play at least 1 card
• On turn end, draw until you have 5 cards, if you have more than 5, discard cards of your choice untill you have 5 cards remaining
• When you play a card that doesn't belong to the scale being build, take 2 damage, reset the note bar, end your turn
• When you finish a scale, deal 5 dmg to the opponent, reset the note bar

Side Note 

This game was created in just 4 days for the GMTK Game Jam 2024 by a small but dedicated team: one developer, artist, and musician. Marking only the second time we’ve worked together on a game. Despite the tight deadline, we combined our skills to bring this unique musical duel to life, and the experience was an absolute blast.
