The Wikipedia Library is an open research hub, a place for active Wikipedia editors to gain access to the vital reliable sources that they need to do their work and to be supported in using those resources to improve the encyclopedia. We aim to make access and use of sources free, easy, collaborative and efficient.

The Wikipedia Library is a Product team at the Wikimedia Foundation, and this board is for tracking what the team is planning to work on. Tasks are discussed and scoped on this board, and move through to the Kanban board when ready for developers to pick up.

Tools

We primarily work on the Library Card platform, through which Wikimedia editors can gain free access to paywalled resources for their research. New partnerships for this program are tracked on the Partnerships board.
