- When I say the word conflict, what are the first thoughts that come to mind? What feelings come up? Take the next 60 seconds to write down as many thoughts and feelings as you can. Don't censor yourself, just jot down whatever comes up. Now look at what you've written. What do most of those words have in common? Since most people have been taught to view conflict in a negative light, I am betting that most of your words are negative. In this lesson, I will help you explore the way you see and feel about conflict and how those feelings can affect your response to it. We all have associations with conflict already.
