Really solid game! I loved all the juice and polish which made the game feel so good to play the main mechanic was super interesting although I did get a bit confusing to remember all the type matchups for the different colors. still really good game
Solid action game, really enjoyed this. I did have some trouble remembering which colors were effective against which, but the difference in the sound effects did a nice job of communicating that.
Also, I made sure to come back and press Settings and Button after reading some of the other comments. Did not disappoint!
Played on stream! See the video for timestamp.
Thank you for playing and lining the video! I saw some other people stream it live but it's nice to have a vod where I can see how someone else plays the game.
That button on the main menu really got my hopes up for how much juice the interactions in this game would have. And you did not disappoint, every action I took felt like it mattered with the sound effects, screen shake, etc. Great job!
Really fun game! I liked having to plan out which typing I needed to be while dodging bullets. It'd be fun to see this game expanded upon, maybe with more types or special abilities for each type?
Hey there's a whole bunch of games with no settings buttons, so I should get at least half a point for it right?
Yes LOL!!
Really enjoyed this game and I think it's a really good implementation of the theme. Also like the consistent art style
Amazing game! I really loved the rock, paper, scissors feel to the design. I also really loved how the UI felt, it was just really clean. It also just feels so polished, but sometimes the levels felt somewhat repetitive.
this game feels really good to play, love it! the boss fight was a fun addition to the game. i like to leave at least one piece of critique, so i wish there was a way to remember which colors were strong against other colors (a guide in the corner or something? not sure), but i didn't have a problem remembering, and it helps that you can kind of tell based on how fast it takes for you to kill an enemy. 10/10 game :]
As others have mentioned, the game is pretty polished, stylish and fun to play! I found the seamless level transitions to be very cool and the colour gimmick was easy to understand. I think an endless mode would be great for this kind of game.
Very well made and polished game, nice concept and good execution, I kept replaying it but I still couldn't figure out with element was better for which, I didn't really understand that in the tutorial (also its very long). But the game is very fun and offers a challenge to those who want it!
Super well polished and stylish. The element-switching concept was simple but definitely added a dimension to the top-down shooter genre!
The spinning levels were very cool, but made me a little bit motion sick, and made it harder to track the enemies (although that second bit was probably the point).
Was there always a way to get type advantage, or did you sometimes just have to kill an enemy using the same color?
Thank you for playing! And yea sometimes you had to use the same element.
Really enjoyed the simple style with tons of polish. If this was expanded out, I could see myself playing it for a long time. Great job!
Really tight presentation and concept. There was almost a puzzle like aspect of trying to figure out which element to swap to but it's wrapped in an energetic bullet hell!
Lots of fun! I really like this concept.
Fast paced with a dash Puzzle ?! Sign me up! awesome concept!
The gameplay was very cool and unlike any of the other games I've seen in the jam, a very good take on the jam theme. Super impressive to have so many levels. As you saw in my video review some of the spinning levels did make me feel a bit of motion sickness but it was still a very fun gameplay idea! Thanks for the game!
I played on stream
Really fun! Took me a bit to get used to but you did a really good job of combining fast-paced action games with a bit of a puzzle element. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was really satisfying to eliminate enemies! Good job!
I like the fast paced action of switching colors, shooting and dodging. I also really like what you did with the particles. One issue I have is that the spinning game me some mind motion sickness : (
I'm glad you pointed out the motion sickness I will pay attention to that in future games. It used to be worse and i changed how the camera operates to compensate, but it was hard for me to track it since I think I got used to it the more I played and I didn't have other play testers, glad you pointed it out.
Awesome game Arnazian, enjoyed playing this!
