thanks for playing and for the kind words, glad you enjoyed! if it's so easy, I expect to see your name at the top of the leaderboard when I get home ;)

thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed! as the wind gets stronger (indicated by the increased particles and more intense music), the threshold goes up for how good a spot on the tree needs to be for you to be able to hold on. once that stamina bar runs out, you fall. glad you enjoyed, hope that's a bit more clear now!

haha, ours is much more simplistic than yours, but I hope you enjoy it anyway!

I was the composer for our game as well. I'm always on the lookout for great music, and even better, great music interactions. great work!

hey, thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

hey, thanks for playing! putting it on mobile should be pretty easy since it's built in Godot and left click is the only control! I will say, the API for the leaderboard is hosted on a free tier so it can be sort of slow to respond. I'm not near my main computer to check the database to see if you're in there, but more than likely if you go load the leaderboard again you'll be there!

"very interesting game play, have never played a game like this before, It took a bit of practice to understand it but its awesome!" -Maria of the Ribbiting Climb team, no itch account to comment

"Very zen would shoot again! It was calm and then stressful, it definitely fits the theme. The animations are also gorgeous" -Maria of the Ribbiting Climb team, no itch account to comment

"Love the concept and the art but kept getting issues in the first puzzle even when I pressed enter :/" -Maria of the Ribbiting Climb team, no itch account to comment

"The colors and art in this are amazing! I really liked the simple design and the way that the physics were applied to the plane when you didnt catch enough wind" -Maria of the Ribbiting Climb team, no itch account to comment

"Loved the pixel art and the backgrounds as well as the rain audio. Hugging the little bear when scared is a cute feature!" - Maria of the Ribbiting Climb team, no itch account to comment

yeah, you can go pretty fast if you want! I will say though, your points per move are capped if you click faster than 3x a second, so more calculated moves result in higher scores ;) thanks for playing!

haha, a couple of our team members actually love rock climbing, including myself. the first draft of the idea for this game was the same concept but a human going up a snowstorm-coated mountain. I think this ended up being more fun, and we got some froggy camaraderie out of it! and yes, there are a couple of known bugs, see my reply to the previous comment as well. I've let Joseph know that you beat his score though, and it sounds like that won't hold for long ;) thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!

yeah, we're aware of a few bugs that we didn't have time to fix before the deadline, and that's one of them 😅 fwiw, one of our team members reported that playing in fullscreen mode got rid of the issue for some reason. we're thinking it's a race condition somewhere, but we couldn't pinpoint it. glad you enjoyed though, thanks for playing!

just played and rated yours, would appreciate a rating as well! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973277

fun little game! I love gaming the market and putting people in debt with 101% interest loans, and then committing casual homicide in my own home when secret agents show up! 😂

fun little game, quite challenging to remember what all I put on my "big ol' club" and in what order so I can wrap it up for the guy chilling on the corner of 2nd and ocean ave. kinda cool that you're sort of punished for being too complex in the first stage, but also I don't see any incentive not to just delete your entire menu except the "single piece of bread not-sandwich" and just chuck bread at people for easy points. then again, that would be fun in its own right. great work!

very funny and very reminiscent of a lot of nostalgic flash games from my childhood, what with trying to get the farthest distance from a launch and all. the parry mechanic took some getting used to, but overall it was a fun game!

hey, no worries! that's the game jam time crunch for ya. it's still a fun game!

a fellow frog game submission and a fellow leaderboard enjoyer! this is a fun, short, cozy experience. y'all did great, but boy are those dev times a task and a half to beat!

this is a great start for a potentially cool project, but not sure how it fits the theme without the context of reading your "how it fits the theme" answer 😅

interesting concept, but a lot of the ui elements overlap each other and it can be hard to know what's going on. great job though, especially on the visuals!

fun little rage speedrunner, but not sure how this relates to the theme or how you would have made it for the jam with almost a full week to spare 😅

super fun game! loved making an axolotl unreasonably overpowered, something I wish I could do in real life :)

pretty fun for how simple it is! I appreciate all the puns, and the funny notes in the credits. great work!

thanks for playing and for the feedback! we wanted to add powerups of some sort, or an upgrade system, but we didn't end up having time 😅

glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

graphics and audio here are fantastic! fun use of the theme, though I couldn't figure out how to harvest the goop and lost on the first attack because of a lack of upgrades 😅 still had a good time though!

there are definitely a few bugs to work out, we're aware of that one but couldn't figure it out in time for both making the deadline _and_ getting any reasonable amount of sleep in our time zone. glad you enjoyed though, thanks for playing!

tons of fun, fantastic art, and great premise. loved it! the one criticism I came up with was that it felt like my ice cream shots were a bit too slow, sometimes a kid would spawn across the map and by the time my shot reached them they'd moved, and then they'd hit the truck for free. could be on purpose though, and definitely not explicitly upset by it lol. great job!

glad you enjoyed it! maybe the tutorial screen before playing could be a bit more granular 😅

this is an interesting concept and a strong start, but I couldn't walk on the ground, I could only grapple, and I only got any real speed from grappling enemies, which made traversing when no enemies were around virtually impossible, and it was really hard to make it back to the ground after grappling an enemy super cool idea though, and I love the calm/storm indicators on the staff.

the first day is calm, but the storm intensity ramps up on future days. the stronger the storm, the stronger of a hold you need on the tree to survive. but thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!

I don't know what I expected but it certainly wasn't a PVP clamfighting game where the first button I pushed made my clam pull out a pistol and dome the opponent instantly, fantastic job lol

shell yeah!

this is absolutely adorable. simple and cozy. fantastic job!

I loved the aesthetic here, and it's interesting to see a directly literal take on the prompt. this game is only about the calm that comes before the storm, not the storm itself. that's unique! great work!

absolutely love the graphics and audio! the dynamic music switching to a minor key when Flowey is angry does so much work. great job!

great idea, and I like the art! I managed to get softlocked when I didn't have enough cannonballs to shoot at pirates, crew to fight them, or materials to give up to them 😅 but great job!
