A Short Hike was one of our inspirations! thanks for the comment :)

Thank you! A Short Hike was one of our inspirations for the core gameplay loop :)

Great take on the theme! had a bit of trouble in the second leve, was pretty hard to tell where was and wasn't safe, but I really love the ideas present in the levels and all the art :)

Crazy cool take on the game. Execution was solid, and the art was good too. I did not make it to the end lol, it was tough!

I really like what I'm seeing here but I can not for the life of me figure out how to use the first crafting table looking thingy... All I can do is cook chicken lol. Really fun take on the theme, maybe I'll figure out the rest of it one day :)

Pretty neat! I liked scaling up and down a lot, it was a good take on the theme with the cells. The background art is amazing btw, you put a lot of detail into it :)

Good take on the theme! Art was amazing and overall I enjoyed playing it. There's definitely some kinks to be worked out in getting the people to follow you, and unfortunately there were a few times where it felt like my horde just refused to attack a tower :(

Great work on this, reminded me a lot of the fantasy battle simulators I played as a kid :)

Well put together game here! Would probably like a little bit more feedback on what the buttons at the bottom do and when they should be clicked, it took me a few minutes until I figured it out.

Looks very stylish, good work :)

Shout out to raccoons! I unfortunately got very stuck on level 2 lol, not sure if it's bugged or if I'm just bad. The game looks fantastic!

The sheer production value and polish on this is crazy! Very happy to see another raccoon themed game in this jam lol.

It was very fun :)

The music was indeed jamming!

I like the idea (especially the themeing) and the execution is fairly solid, but could have probably been shorter all things considered.

Great work all around :)

Cool stuff! I like the vibes, but there were a few bugs after I syringed like my second fish where I just didn't make any more money :/

I also didn't manage to reel in any of the body parts bc I didn't know what the control scheme was at first, very curious what other creepy stuff is in this big ocean! Great work :)

Pretty fun! I had a terribly difficult time tbh, but I liked that the character was fast and I could really feel the impact that my current health had. Great idea and solid work all around :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of a deckbuilding climbing game. Overall the execution was pretty solid, although there was definitely a bit of a learning curve that could be helped by copying the HELP menu into the game page description. Had a lot of fun (even though I died 3/4 of the way up rip)

By far the best size scaling puzzle game I've seen so far! By the way, I got my particles to show on Chrome by doing  Settings -> System -> Use graphics acceleration when available -> Relaunch Chrome. We ran into similar issues with our game lol.

Great work :)

Fun idea! I will say that the first minigame is a bit tediuos, but I found the cars and the boats much more enjoyable. I wouldn't mind having more feedback on the upgrades, to me it often felt like they didn't do all that much compared to just saving that money for the Scale Up. Overall great work :)

Okay I'm actually in love with this idea! Pretty difficult (at least for me) I think I only got to 256 and that was after a while and this is coming from someone who has gotten to 16,384 in normal 2048 before lol. I wish there was a little bit more information available about the hero attacks, or other strategic elements on the field besides just the slimes.

Very original idea, and polished execution :)

Shout out to games about stacking stuff! Very stylish, I almost felt bad when i dropped the big cakes on the little cakes bc of how cute they were lol. Very solid work all around :)

Ver cool idea! I think there's a lot of fun space here but level design around this core mechanic is definitely a bit tricky. I had a lot of fun figuring out the right configurations :)

Okay ngl the win screen actually almost killed me lol, was not expecting it at all. Looks like you got solid work in on implmenting the core mechanic, there's definitely a lot of stuff still to explore with it :)

Got to 137 which is currently 1 behind first place lol. Really enjoyed the game, the leaderboard did succesfully get me to play it a 2nd time after a landmine wiped me the first run. I died the second time trying to jump onto a black rock that didn't have a hitbox which felt kinda bad, but overall you did great work on the climbing and rock formations!

I was a little bit put off by not having free aim at first, but as soon as I got the first crystal it all made sense! Very fun, great core idea, and I love the lil gun guy so much! A few enemies and more puzzles and I could see this being fleshed out into a full game :)

Througouhly enjoyed this one, reminded me a bit of the Impossible Quiz but was funnier and far less frustrating lol

Very solid, though I got a little bit frustrated having level ups heal me back up, which isn't a bad thing or anything, just tooke me a long time to realize it was happening lol. Fun take on the theme :)

Awesome concept! designing levels around it is kinda tough, but i definitely think there's a lot of space for fun stuff here! great work :)

Lokey addicting! The gameplay loop is really engaging, my only wish would be to see some enemy variety! Great work here!

(1 edit)

Damn, you have a really fun concept but the dominant strategy is just a little too easy to find and it trivializes the challenge. Other people have made a lot of cool suggestions on fleshing out the game to make it a little more mechanically interesting with more weapon/monster variety,  but I had one idea that it would be interesting to add in elements where sometimes you do have to hit the enemy. For exapmle armed enemies could also swing their weapons and you'd have to hit the weapon to parry them and protect our violent hero. Great work already though!

Fantastic take on the theme and presentation! Only comment is that the controls are a little bit hard to remember, maybe having prompts next to different actions would be helpful? You came up with the best title in the jam btw :)

I could see this being a pretty interesting roguelike actuallly. You kinda have to become increasingly strong to evade capture, you learn new moves, get new traits, and then eventually when you are captured that build is now something that can show up in the trainers' teams in the future. Fun take on the theme!

Fun! I like the gameplay loop a lot, it's always pushing you to make yourself into a stronger hoard but also you can never really rest or hunker down. Love the zombie sounds too lol :)

Very nice work here! I love the vibes you've got going on, and the core premise is a very fun take on the theme. Controls could use a tiny bit of tweaking, and I might just be bad, but the spore enemy seemed really difficult to counter. Had a lot of fun!

The quest giver / quest management take is one of my favorites, and something I was really intersted in during our brainstorming phase. I had no idea what to actually do with the idea, but you've executed on it so well, great work here! had a lot of fun :)

Really solid entry! I liked the shifting through green mechanic, definetly got a cool "oh snap" moment out of me. Mechanics like that are always fun to discover organically :)

Okay actually how did u make an entire card game in 48 hours? Love the themeing, and I feel like it could be a really interesting competetive game tbh. Kinda how Bloons is set up where you decide what type of climbers to send at your enemy based on what kind of deck they're playing. Had fun with it, great work!

Oh my god I worked so hard to get good at this game just so I could hear more of the absolutely bopping music! Very simple concept and well executed, had a fun time! good work :)

Music was some of the best fitting and integrated into the game that I've seen so far in the jam! There's a lot of stuff you can do with this concept, this one keeps it simple and executes it well, feels very smooth to play. Good work :)

Loved the level with the pile of money right to the left u have to kinda stumble across. The balance between playing it safe to avoid dying and going quickly to avoid running out of cash is really fun, and the overall vibe was just sick! Great work :)

I actually love this so much! Inverse Plants vs Zombies is a nice idea, and your characters have a lot of charm to them. The heart is just so weirdly threatening, great vibes, great execution, great concept :)

I might just really suck, but I think more asteroids per second would improve the experience lol, give the player more to chuck at the ship! Really fun take on the theme, the bullets wrapping around the screen is a really nice touch bc it makes it a real challenge to get anywhere near the ship if you aren't paying attention to where it's shooting. Great work here :)

Solid game here, would be really fun in like a minigame collection with 4 players and one player switching into being the giant robot every so often. Had fun with it!
