The turning worked fine for me, so it's probably just you.

Those warning texture are sometimes used for decorations, and some are used for guidance.

Wait, I just found out that you can use a keyboard to move around instead of clicking where you want to go. With it, it's way easier to play. But maybe also add a w/s control to expand the body upward/downward.

Good game! The upgrades are pretty balanced. For some reason, It's scared me, every time I discovered a new fish, lol. I played until I unlocked everything!

I just used a premade portal from here as a base. Because I probably don't have time to figure out how to do it from scratch.
