Using Liquify to reshape an image

- [Instructor] An easy way to reshape an object is to use the liquefy filter. Now in this image, I want to reshape the clock but not the background, so it's going to be easier if I select the clock and then copy it to its own layer. I'll tap the M key in order to select the marquee tool. I want the elliptical marquee tool, and I'm going to start about here in the image area and then drag down to the right to select the clock. It's okay if we select too much, I just want to make sure that I have the clock as well as its shadow here selected. Then I'll use the layer menu and choose New, and then layer via copy, so I have a copy of the clock on its own layer. I can go ahead and rename that. And then in order to apply the liquefy filter in a non-destructive manner, I'm going to right-click and choose to convert to smart object. Then we can choose the filter menu and select liquefy.
