- [Instructor] One of the most important features in Photoshop is the ability to undo whatever you just did, because just knowing that nothing that you do is permanent allows you to experiment and play in Photoshop. For example, if I choose to flip this image by selecting Image, Image Rotation, and then Flip Canvas Horizontal, then I can choose to undo this. I can use the Edit menu and choose to undo it or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Z on Mac or Control + Z on Windows. Or I can use the history panel. If the history panel is not showing, use the Window menu and then select History. We can click on any state in the history panel in order to return to that point in time. Now, by default, the history panel keeps track of the last 50 commands, but you can always change that. In the Preferences, I'll choose Performance. Remember on Windows, it would be under the Edit menu. And here are the number of history states.…
