- [Narrator] Now before we start adding our assets, let's take a moment to see how to best work with guides, when we're working with art boards. I'm going to select layer one in the Layers panel. I have my ruler showing, if your rulers aren't showing you can use Command R, or use the View Menu and then show rulers. I have them set to pixels. You can always change the units of measurements by just right clicking, and then selecting the unit that you want. Now, if I were to drag from the ruler area into my image a guide, well, that guide is only going to appear, above the currently targeted art board. So I'm going to undo that, and on the Layers panel I will select all three of these art boards, and then when I drag a guide into the image area, we can see that it's actually going to be over all three of the art boards.
