- [Instructor] Next, let's find out how to combine multiple shapes into a single layer, save that shape as a custom shape, and clip a photograph to multiple custom shapes so that the photo is only seen within the shape. First, I'm going to simplify the document by throwing away all of these groups. And then in this group, I'm also going to throw away the flower shape. I'm going to hide the rectangle layer and then select the ellipse and the polygon layers. And in the Properties panel, I'm going to add a bright magenta stroke and we'll make this, say, 25 pixels. Now I'll target the ellipse layer. And with the Move tool selected, I'm just going to reposition it so that we can see that it is overlapping and that it is filled with white.
