Pen tool basics

- [Narrator] Well, I find that Photoshops curvature Pen tool is excellent for creating shapes. When I need the most amount of control, say for example, I'm trying to cut out an object from the background, or I make it a really complex shape, then I'll switch to the traditional Pen tool. I'll select it here from the tool bar, and then I'll make sure that it's reset, by right clicking and resetting the tool, I want to make sure that I'm drawing a path. Now I'll use command one in order to zoom in, and then let's take a look in the upper right of this template. So every time we click with the Pen tool, we're going to be setting down, what's called an anchor point. So we click once we had an anchor point, we click again, and we get another anchor point, and we create what's called a line segment.
