Using leading, kerning, and tracking

- [Instructor] In the next few minutes, we're going to take a look at the leading, kerning, and tracking options in Photoshop. I'll tap the T key in order to select the Type tool. But because I want to add to this type layer instead of adding a new one, I'll click right to the right of the Y in City. Then I'll tap the Return key and add, "The Crossroads of the West." As we can see, the text is too large, it doesn't fit on the canvas. So I'm going to triple-click in order to select the entire line of text. And Photoshop will select the text that even extends beyond that canvas area. Then, to modify the text, instead of using the Options bar, let's take a look at the Properties panel. Here, I can change the size of the text, again, using the scrubby sliders. Or we can use this dropdown menu. Or we can enter in a specific value. Or if we highlight the text here, we can use the up arrows or the down arrows to increase…
