- [Instructor] As you become more experienced in Photoshop, you'll find that you use different groups of panels for performing different tasks, and it'll be helpful to customize the panel locations and then save them for that task so you can quickly switch back and forth. If you want to explore different options, Photoshop actually shifts with several workspaces or presets of different panel locations. We can use this icon here and explore, for example, the organization of panels for painting, or maybe take a look at the photography panels where we can see things like the histogram or your libraries, or even look at the graphics and web setup. Of course, these are just starting points and suggestions. Personally, I find that having the panels on the left is actually more efficient because having the panels over here means that they're closer to the tools as well as the options bar.
