- [Instructor] In addition to being able to create a point or headline type, Photoshop can create area type. So that we don't have to spend a lot of time trying to type in paragraphs of text, I've created a note. So if we select the notes tool which is nested with the eyedropper tool we can then click on the note icon in the options bar and that will show the note panel. Since I am zoomed out, we can see that there's a note to the right of this document and I can just click on that note and then we can see the contents of the note in the notes panel. Now, in order to select the text, I just need to click once and then we can see that it's highlighted in blue and I'll use the keyboard shortcut command C on Mac, control C on Windows, in order to copy that text to the clipboard.
