- Photoshop has several experimental filters intended for more creative photo editing scenarios. These filters use artificial intelligence and machine learning to completely create new pixels to fill in content in an image. We're going to take a look at at least three examples in the next few minutes. So the first thing I'll do is I will convert this image to a smart object. And while it looks like it's black and white I just want to point out that it is indeed in RGB because I'm going to add color to it. I'll select the filter menu, and then choose neural filters. Now, the first time that you run some of these filters there may be a cloud icon or a download button which you'll need to select in order to download the AI model from the cloud.
