- [Instructor] We're going to take the next few minutes to find out how to quickly customize the most common attributes for the painting tools in Photoshop. I'll start by opening a new file, and under Photo, I'll just double-click on the Default Photoshop Size to open an image. Then I'll use Command + Plus, just to zoom in a bit. I'll tap the B key in order to select the paintbrush, but you can select it from the toolbar here. And then to make sure that we're all starting at the same place, I will right-click on the brush icon in order to reset the tool. To change most of the common brush attributes, I can click on the small disclosure triangle that will reveal the brush preset picker. And here, I can change things like the size and the hardness of the brush. I can also change the shape as well as the angle. We can search brushes, we can see the recently used brushes, and below that are a number of different brush presets.…
