- [Instructor] There are a number of different ways to make adjustments to color and color ranges in Photoshop. We're going to take the next few minutes in order to explore the vibrance, hue and saturation, and color balance adjustment layers. I'll start at the bottom of the layers panel, and add a vibrance adjustment layer. It actually has two sliders, a vibrance and saturation and both of these sliders are relative. Now, when I move the vibrant slider all the way to the left you'll notice that there's still some color in the image and that's because it's removing a relative amount of vibrance based on the original amount of saturation in the image. When I move it over to the right, it does add vibrance but it also does it in a relative way in that it's adding more vibrance to your blues and your purples than it is your yellows and your oranges.
