- [Instructor] In addition to using different panels you'll also spend a lot of time in Photoshop just switching tools. Now, fortunately, almost every tool has a keyboard shortcut. For example, the move tool has the keyboard shortcut of V and the marquee tool has the keyboard shortcut of M. So if I just wanted to select the move tool I could tap the V key, if I want to select the marquee tool, I tap the M key. You'll notice that a lot of the tools have a little diamond, or an arrow in the lower right. That means that there are additional tools that are nested with them and if you click and hold you get the flyout and you can see all of them. So for example, the lasso tool also has a polygonal lasso tool and a magnetic lasso tool, but they all have the same keyboard shortcut. So let's say I've selected the magnetic lasso tool and now, I want to select one of the other ones. Well, tapping the L key isn't going to do anything.…
